Hidden costs - Reading the fine print

After returning my hire car an addition cost of R229 was deducted from my credit card.

After phoning your Milnerton branch in Cpt I was informed that it was for additional insurance that I took out on the windscreen, tyres and rims, etc..

The day I collect the car there were a lot of people and I was also in a hurry. I was only told to initial at the circles and sign at the bottom.

Nobody ask me if I want the insurance nor explain it to me.

Yes I know I should have read the fine print but I signed it in good faith, not realising that a company like Avis pulling these type of stunts.

You can do the sums if the manage to do it to a 1000 people... nice addition income
