Terrible service by Avis

I had a terrible experience with Avis lately, here is a sequence of events:
1. I received my car from Avis on 26th of April
2. On the 27th I found a scratch on the bumper and wanted them to know about it as I knew certainly it wasn't my damage (no - one came to assist to inspect the car upon check out). I also wanted to let them know that the lock and unlock buttons does not work on the key (which is not a issue as I could lock and unlock the car manually - I purely wanted to make them aware). The call was a disaster as i was passed on to more than 4 different people in different departments, and after about 15 minutes someone hung up on me. I tried again, with no luck. So by the way, the website is pathetic to find contact information!!!
3. I then wrote an inquiry on the web. Almost a week passed before someone contacted me back. After a huge misunderstanding they brought me another car (which wasn't necessary).
4. I forgot a CD and my sunglasses in the "old" rental, and tried to let them know to keep it at the Airport branch for me (not much asked, is it?).
5. I then arrived at the airport yesterday, and my sunglasses is gone.
I'm furious as I sit here.
