My Cerato broke down in traffic on Monday, 4 March. Had to get hold of Kia 24hour emergency to have the car towed to the nearest dealership (Bryanston). Everything is fine up until you get to the dealership and get told they do not have courtesy vehicles. (What is the point of having 24h emergency assistance when you're not actually being fully assisted). The car had just been in for the 45, 000km service 3 weeks ago (what are they actually servicing??) After 3 days I am informed that "gearbox oil cooler hoses has burst, and the car lost all gearbox oil. We have the pipe in stock, but there is always confusion as to which oil to use in the automatic gearboxes" and i am still not told how long it will take for my car to be fixed.(I am still without a car) At this point i request Kia head office number to complain about the service, only to be told again by Kia head office that they do not offer courtesy cars - so much for Family like service which Kia raves about!! I think it is quite pathetic and very disappointing that Kia cannot service their clients while their cars are being fixed due to faults of Kia vehicles. Please do not use service as a selling point as this is not the case
