Breach of contract to repair defective DVD system

Recently purchased a pre owned Volvo XC90 from Volvo Hatfield. Offer to purchase included items that the dealership would repair on sale of vehicle. Dealership sold vehicle with DVD system as a key feature and now refuses to repair. This after they agreed as per the defective items listed, signed and stamped by the sales consultant in a document attached to the offer to purchase. They made an appointment for me with their security and sound technicians near to their branch where the technicians confirmed that the DVD system is faulty. They are now refusing to repair the system when upon confirmation from their sound technician that the system is defective and does not work. It appears that once a sale is concluded, the rights and concerns of the purchaser is totally disregarded. I would like to warn all consumers of this practise.
