Waiting for windscreen for over a month

On my way to Lesotho on 17January, a stone jumped up from the road surface and chipped the windscreen of my Infiniti FX30. I reported the incident and registered my insurance claim at PG Glass Menlyn on 25 January. This was the second time in a short period that I had to replace my cracked windscreen and I knew that I would have to wait a couple of days for the windscreen as Infiniti is still new in SA and windscreens perhaps not freely available. (Although I am of the opinion that as soon as a car is sold in the country, windscreens should be available.). It has however now been more than 4 weeks and no-one seems to be able to tell me when I can get my new windscreen. After numerous phonecalls I have established that even though the claim was registered on 25/01, the windscreen was only ordered on 04/02. Now the receptionist at PG Menlyn tells me that it will take 21-30 working days, perhaps longer to get the windscreen. Surely that is not acceptable? The crack is now stretching across my field of vision right to the passsenger side. What if my windscreen was totally shattered? Would they then also just shrug their shoulderds? Unacceptable!!
