Poor Workmanship and Service

Cars & Transport

My 2011 VW Polo 1.4 Comfortline was taken in for a service on 18/01/2013 & for repairs as there is a continuously funny struggling winding sound coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle went in for repairs on numerous other occasions to be inspected by nothing were found yet the noise persisted. The vehicle was taken in for repairs on 18/02/2013 for the backing plates on the rear brakes which wasn't attended to at time of service even though a TPI was out for it. Neither Gavin (Services Manager), Wernich (Dealer Principal), nor Mark (Regional Rep VWSA factory) detected a sound but Nicky (Workshop Manager) could. The individuals merely listened to the engine instead of a physical inspection. Why? According to these individuals the sound is normal. If this was the case then we would not have brought the car in for repairs. The courtesy vehicle I used was a 1.6 VW Polo & there was no sound at all, & this is what my vehicle sounded like when purchased. When the aircon is switched on the humming, struggling sound is in fact amplified. Wernich listened to the vehicle in our presence & declared the vehicle is perfect to drive as there is nothing to repair. I beg to differ.
