Volkswagen
Selling of faulty cars to custome

Cars & Transport

I bought 2 Polo's from your dealership: a 2009 1.6 Comfortline and 2007 1.4 Trendline (for my mom). Whilst I have had no problems with my mom's vehicle, mine seems to have only given me problems:
I received the vehicle with just over 66000km and to date have just over 76000km on the vehicle. When I received the vehicle, I phoned Carene to tell her my balancing and alignment was out, but she assured me it had been done. I requested a copy of the 80 point critical safety check, but have to date not received it. I left this and just had the alignment done myself (which was highly out). In the last month I have had to replace my shocks and shock mountings (which according to the gentleman at SupaQuick, should have been noted as something that would need replacing over 10000km ago). I replaced both regardless. The car made a constant winding sound, which I was told was normal on all VW's. I took my car to VW and have now been told the main bearing on the gearbox needs repairing. I wasn't initially worried about this as I thought it would get done under warranty as I was under the impression that all Mastercar's come with an additional 2 year warranty. However, not R10 500 to repair!!!
