Over 2 weeks to order a part, no work done yet

Dropped my car off for repairs 4 February, over 2 weeks ago... It is now 19 Feb and I still do not have my car.
I was overseas for a week and got back yesterday only to be told, "Oh, we thought you were only back on Friday" - Guaranteed, these guys have done NO work on my car and have done nothing while I was away thinking they had plenty of time to work on it still... It is the same story every time I call - they are waiting for a spare part or the other second hand parts they received have not fit my car.
What is the point of a panel beater if all they are doing is ordering spare parts??
My insurer - OUTSURANCE have refused to assist any further because it was a third party claim, I am very disappointed with them and assume that's why the panel beaters are treating me like dirt...
I NEED my car, I have a job to get to and other responsibilities that require me being mobile.
I do not understand why this has to be such a hassle, why I have to fight for MY car to be repaired within a reasonable time frame. I am a paying customer and don't think I am being unreasonable given the level of service I have received. All I get is broken promises and no resolution to my problem.
