Zambezi Service Manager/ Head Office,

I would just like to inform you of the terrible experience my husband and I had with our service at Barloworld GM Zambezi and stipulate the reasons for my email, post in hello peter and consumer section of the record (which I am going to try my utmost to get published).

I had my vehicle service at Zambezi on the 28/1/13 where they claim a full check was done on my cambelt as stipulated by the service agent over the phone and marked off on the inspection sheet included. 11 Days later on the 9th of February I started the vehicle and heard a funny noise, I then felt that I should rather not drive with the vehicle and seeing that it was a Saturday not much could be done until Monday in order for us to take the vehicle back to GM Zambezi.

We were offered no sympathy as to what the noise is after being there only a short time ago and told that it definitely sounds like the cambelt (which they said they looked at) but in order for them to look at the cambelt again we have to pay R1800. Which I find disgraceful seeing that it was supposed to be checked before. Seeing that we felt that was unfair treatment we collected the vehicle and took
