Additional charges

DHL decided to charge me an extra ZAR100 (in addition to import duty and VAT) and then gave three different reasons for doing so, for acting as an import agent, for administration, and then unbelievably they accused the revenue service of imposing the charge! The UK retailer was duped by the last revelation to advise me to pay the extra charge - it took a visit to DHL to find the truth, it's a discretionary administration charge. The UK retailer has been advised and a refund claimed. It seems to me that DHL are trying to charge me for doing the job that they were paid for by the retailer.
