Credit Card - Incorrect Charge Off

After my credit card was rejected, I checked my transaction history, only to find that on 8/11/2012 there was a "Transfer to charge off account", and my balance and limit had been reset to zero. Late November I phoned Absa Client Services, who told me that my account had been transferred to the Legal department, and they referred me to Legal's helpline. Legal told me that the reason for this was that their records showed that I was under debt administration, and they were reviewing my account. Now, I am most certainly NOT under debt administration; I've NEVER even applied to be put under administration, and I've NEVER had any debt issues. They gave me the contact details for a guy (RG) who deals with this type of thing. After about two weeks, and a huge hassle, I finally got hold of RG (I was told he had been first on holiday and then on sick leave). RG said he would escalate my complaint to someone who can sort it out (OB). On 12/12/2012 RG copied me in on a mail to OB requesting him to correct the error, and I was told that all further correspondence would be handled by OB. I have since not heard from OB, and the charge-off has not yet been reversed. UNACCEPTABLE!
