90 000km SERVICE

Cars & Transport

On Friday 08th February 2013, I took my Opel Astra 1.8 Sport Reg No: VPW741GP to Fury Sandton to have it serviced. An amount of R5 265-20 was paid for the service.

When I got home I noticed that the car was leaking on the left hand side. Thinking that it may just be excess water from the engine having been washed, I left it for the weekend.

I also happend to notice that rear windscreen wiper that was replaced was misaligned and making a noise.

On Monday 11th February 2013 I noticed that the car was still leaking, I phoned the dealership, spoke to Selvin (PIC of the workshop), he told me to bring the car back and they would sort the problems out.

Later that day Dwayne (consultant) phoned me to tell me that they had replaced a seal to stop the leakage and replaced the rear wiper blade.

On Tuesday 12th February 2013 my husband drove the car to work - went underneath the car to see what they had said they had "fixed" and noticed that a seal was not replaced but, insulation tape had been used.

My husband complained to Selvin the same day, again we were told to take it back on Wednesday 13th February 2013.

Pls note the above and hope all will be in order.
