I initially experienced a problem with my wipers, a warranty claim was made and this was eventually sorted out, not in the fastest time possible.

In the same month, my car just came to a halt. I suspected it was the gear box as there was oil on the road. I had to contact Kia Assist to have my car towed to the nearest Kia, which was in Midrand. This happened on the 01 February. My car has just over 20000km and I certainly did not expect a car with such low mileage to have such issues. My job depends on me having a car and I have sadly and frustratingly been without a car since the 01st Feb 2013. The branch does not take accountability and I understand this, so I contact or try to contact Kia SA, however, don't get much or any joy there. It seems to me that Kia is focused on sales and advertising in order to attract customers but certainly does not do the bare minimum in order to retain these customers. They just don't care. I'm sitting without a car because of some mechanical or manufacturing problem but Kia does nothing about it. They can't even give me a guideline as to when I can expect my car fixed. This certainly does not communicate customer value.
