Glasfit Bryanston
Poor customer service

I took my car to Glasfit Bryanston to replace the driver’s door window. The window was fitted but the broken glass not cleaned out of the door. Afterwards noticed that the driver’s door did not lock properly (everything else worked fine). I took it back to ask that they check if there was glass in the mechanism. They opened the door panel and noticed this was indeed the case and cleaned it out. The panel was put back but then the door mechanism did not work at all, window did not go up and down nor did the door want to lock. The manager on duty (Stewart Nonylasa) said that it was not his problem and that Glasfit only replaces windows and are not responsible for fixing my car. He was very arrogant and would not listen to any reasoning, just insisting it was my problem and not his, and that he didn’t care if I was unhappy with the service. After waiting for about an hour I asked him if one of his other technicians could have a look and he agreed. The second technician again took everything apart and found that the wires were not connected properly. After connecting it correctly, the door could now lock properly and window could close. The automatic closing of the window still did not work, but I was just happy that at least the car could lock. I will take my car elsewhere to have the rest fixed.
I cannot describe how disappointed I am with Glasfit’s attitude towards its customers and will obviously never visit them again, and make sure I tell as many people as possible about my unhappy experience!
