We booked a car with Sixt because we were supposed to be flying down to Pietermaritzburg next weekend. Our plans have changed so i went on line to cancel my reservation (with 6 days to go). One would assume I would get all or atleast most of the money back but their website reads "This is a prepaid reservation and hence binding. The cancellation costs amount to 831.08 ZAR (incl. VAT). " This is the full amount paid for the car hire. This is disgusting, deceiving, dishonest and in bad faith and most certainly against the CPA.
