After every service something breaks

Cars & Transport

My car went in for a service the 27th December 2012 which the Diagnostic report showed no problems on the vehicle currently. When I tried starting my car the 29th of December 2012 it would not start. I contacted the 24 helpline and they assisted me telephonically advising me that it was my battery and it would need to be replaced, which I did but to my dismay the car would not start again after replacing the battery. I notified VW about the problem the 31st when they called me. A guy by the name NICO called me the 2nd Jan 2013 to make the service booking and I advised him that I was away on holiday and could only solve the problem the 10th Jan 2013. When I booked my car in today at 7:00 I only received a call at 13:50 to notify me that my cars speed sensor was broken and has to be replaced which will cost me R4000!!! This was picked up on the Diagnostic report when the car went in for a service but all of a sudden on the new Diagnostic report it's displaying there, which I think is ridiculous. I DID NOT EVEN DRIVE MY CAR but now something is broken... HOW??? Every time I use VW Westgate there are always problems after I receive my car and services do not come cheap on a Polo TDI.
