Unprofessional Service along with two hours of lie

A reservation for car hire was made with Avis for me. Avis contacted me to confirm the car hire and we made arrangements with Sandton Avis to deliver the vehicle to my office on Monday 20 January 2014 at 14:30. Avis Sandton phoned and confirmed the delivery instructions. On Monday at 15:00 Avis phoned to apologise that my car had not been delivered as they have a delay with the vehicles. The lady on the phone reassured me the vehicle would be delivered within 15 minutes (15:15). At 15:25 I phoned to inquire where the car is and the Avis staff member on line told me the driver is on his way with the car as we speak and the car will be delivered within 10 minutes (15:35). I phoned at 15:45, 16:00, 16:15, 16:30, 16:45, 16:55 and the branch manager kept saying that the driver had left and he was almost there. Just over two hours of continuous. I asked the branch if he thought i was stupid as it does not take 10 minutes every phone call to drive 2.2km (4 minutes) against traffic. The car was eventually delivered at 17:15.
