Kia Motors South Africa
5 Times to Fix an Issue

Cars & Transport

I have been experiencing a problem with my 1.5 year old Kia Rio, the car was unable to unlock and this was a serious safety issue considering that my wife drives the car and has a small baby that she needs to leave outside while opening the car from the inside.

A few months ago I brought the car in to MultiFranchise Paarden Eiland, they said the problem is that something is loose and they "fixed it" and was "fortunate" I never needed to pay for that.

I took the car home and got the same problem, was told to bring it in for them to "check" and was told it could be the switch on the console and I had to bring it back for the third time.

I brought it back the third time and they confirmed that the switch is not the problem and when I arrived to collect the car I was told that they never had enough time to find the problem. (Why could they not tell me they needed more time?)

I brought the car in for the fourth time and they kept it for 2 days saying that they found the problem.
I had to then follow up a few times to find out if they ordered the faulty part.

I brought it in the fifth time and was told at 4:45PM that they never got to the car. Kia and Mutlifranchise have failed.
