Faulty 80 Point Check

I wish to express how bad I feel at this moment. I brought my car for service on the 16/09/13 and asked if my car could be checked (test drive) as there was noise on the wheels when I turn my steering.

80 point check detected Mountings, Conn Link, Bearing & Gasshockab. Quotation was done as I felt the noise needed to be treated as a matter of urgency. On Friday the 4 /10/13 I brought my car for maintenance but when I came to collect it I noticed that what they've diagnosed was not what was the problem as that point in time. The noise was still there.

I called and they told me to bring the car in & my husband did. And he was not assisted. I'm now given a quotation for Driveshaft, wheelshaft, Joint, and 12 points of which I don't mind paying for but my questions are:

1. Why was the above not detected on the 80 point check?
2. I have taken my car to Natal CV Joints of which my car was sorted once. And I asked Russell to take out
the parts they've put and refund my money which he told me he'll change the part but I'll sell the parts myself to get a refund. I am very disappointed the way I trusted Barons I never expected this from them.
