The store sold me a faulty 3g modem

I bought a modem from Maponya, when i tried to use it at home it didnt even switch on, called the call center and was told there problem could be with the set up because it was not responding. i took it back to the store, the salesperson then checks for registration of the sim card, after i bring it to his attention the problem was the modem, the manager informs me that they do not have a computer to check what the problem is i should have brought my laptop since their computers are not able to perform such duties. then he ignores me and keeps me waiting for 20min without even explaining the process regarding faulty goods. he has not called since 3days to inform me if the modem is being repaired since he said THE STORE DOES NOT HAVE A REFUND POLICY.
