Great value for money

I actually wanted to write a complaint about the high price I was quoted for a new rear silencer by GMSA, but I thought it's too early in the year for complaining, so I decided to rather turn this around and compliment a business who provide superior products at a fraction of the price.

So here goes: I own an Opel Coupe, which is basically a first generation OPC but prettier (IMO). I need to have my rear silencer replaced, so I phoned my closest GM dealer who quoted me R5460. Note that this is simply for the rear silencer, not a complete exhaust system. I thought that was ridiculous, so I searched around and found Evo Performance who quoted me almost 75% less. They also quoted me about 30% less than GM's price to have a complete new stainless steel exhaust fitted. So a complete exhaust, which is of a higher quality than standard, actually costs less from a third party than just a rear silencer costs from the dealer.

Now, I've never been to Evo Performance before, but I have heard only good things about them and I will definitely recommend them over "the agents" any day of the week. I am glad there are people who charge based on the work, and not what your car looks like.
