Don't use the speed service through the post offic

I went to Menlyn post office to send a 1.5 kg package to Bloemfontein. The lady gave so much greef, saying that it will work out very expensive, cause I wanted to buy a box from them, which so bother way was ony R11 but I needed to buy my on adhesive tape& they don't sell it. Gosh I was so annoyed with a place who sells some stationery but don't sell tape! So I went shopping & returned 20min later, then a different person assisted & said the Speed service is an overnight service, which I paid R146.00 for. I handed the package in 09h10 on 2 Jan 2014 & traced the package today, it says Parcel TC... was delivered to ACCEPTANCE (O) SCAN at MENLYN POSTOFFICE 11:43 2014/01/02. For enquiries call 0860 000 977. Then I called after 2 today 3 Jan 2014 & they inform me that my package is in Jhb & due to the strike it might reach the receiver of the goods on Saturday or Monday. So why pay for over night delivery but only get a 48hrs or 72hrs possible delivery. I should be paying for a service rendered & now they are from us the customer. I will make it my absolute mission to warn everyone on all possible mediums. Why did.they not state their situation on their website& the post off?
