The Shell Garage in Ladismith T/A D R Hicks Garage in Ladismith, Western Cape fails dismally to promote the Shell Brand. We spent R541.00 on fuel there only to find out they charge R5.00 PER person if one needs to use the restroom. I really think it is unreasonable to expect someone to pay to use a toilet when he/she has spent that amount of money at your establishment. We were a family on holiday, not some bunch of delinquents wanting to trash the place. Can not help but wonder if this is on instruction of the owner - in which case: shame on you! -or if the attendants pocket the money for themselves?
We as a family (which includes 4 vehicles) will NOT fill up at any Shell in future and plan on spreading the word.
No wonder Shell is one of the companies that do not respond: just look at the amount of complaints. Seems they are incompetent and simply do not care about service.
They could start at looking who buys their franchises and how they are run: business BASICS!
I should have stopped supporting them already when they raised the fracking idea..
