SUNNY SKIES... AND THEN THERE'S CHEVROLET

I've said it before: the Weskaap Motors' crowd are just the best.

I had an appointment near Cape Town that had been planned down to the last minute and of course, Murphy being who he is, I try to start my car in the parking lot and nit won't start.

A call to Kevin and in less time than it takes to finish a cigarette (I don't smoke, mind), Eric Cloete, Services Manager arrives with driver and tow truck.

I am embarrassed to think it could be the battery (I am certain I didn't leave the park lights on), but in fact it turns out to be the connecting bolt that has worked its way loose.

Not only did Eric tighten the bolt, but insisted I come down to the workshop with him to check it property with the correct equipment. I was soon on my way and able to keep an important arrangement without losing time.

"For you no charge, " he said. Can you believe that in today's day and age? No wonder I drive Chevs knowing that I've got such wonderful people behind me when I need help.

What a great Christmas present! Thank you, Kevin, Eric and your service workshop team.
