Poor service

I pay my AA membership for myself and wife diligently and don't use the service that often. However, today I requested a booster start and was told it would take 60 - 100 minutes. I thought 100 minutes was ridiculously long. After 100 minutes I called and was told they were 5 minutes away. Eventually they got here in 140 minutes. I expect a refund for the month as this service is completely unacceptable. I am in Hout Bay and it does not take that long to get here from almost anywhere in Cape Town. Would like to hear from others on their experience with the AA as I am considering canceling my membership and depending on dealership and insurers who provide this service.
