An agent with good judgement and excellent people

We rented a car at O.R. Thambo last Saturday to go to a family affair. At the airport the car was said to be in an excellent condition with no dents or scratces. We took it as is and being very tired after a flight with a young baby, and with the bad lighting at the airport garage, we did not think to recheck the car. Nobody walked us to the rental. On giving the car back at Hartebeespoort branch, Coba Hoffman noted that there are big hail dents on the roof. This came as a big shock as Avis could hold us responsible for the damage. We told her that there were never any hail that we went and that none of our family members' cars had any damage. We also told her that we could pull weather reports. We had to file a report to headoffice. At the end Coba believed us, as there was huge hailstorms the previous weeks in the Gauteng area and none in the week we were there. We want to give a sincere thank you to Coba Hoffman for excellent service and also believing us.
