False quoting. Bad attitude

Last week, I spoke to a salesperson, and asked for a quote on a key with buttons and a quote on a key without buttons. They made it very confusing and sent a quote with combined cut/code of both keys which made it impossible for me to work out from the quote the separate prices for the two keys.

Laziness? Probably...

So I phoned the sales person again and asked for a price on just the key without the buttons. He told me the key was R226 and the cut/code was R336 making the total R562.
Today when I phoned, they decided to up the price to R916 for one and R1142 for 2 keys.

If last week I was told one key is R562 then surely 2 keys would be R1124 at most?

I understand people make mistakes but not a single apology was made. They did not even acknowledge that they made a mistake, they simply don't care, they were totally nonchalant about it, I mean as long as they get their salary at the end of the day not so? Why put in the effort of apologizing or saying they made a mistake. Absolutely pathetic service. You need to fix your attitudes there and be more careful when giving out quotes!
