King Price Insurance
Wrong quote = our problem

My son is 19 years old and he had a car insured with King Price Insurance so about 3 weeks ago he calls to get a quotation from King Price with the exact same policy just a different car. He being the regular driver we paid R1800 - per month. He calls for a quote for a Opel Corsa OPC and per telephone the quote Is R1500 with im am happy with and proceed purchasing the vehicle. The day they send the conformation THEY made a mistake putting me up as the regular driver we call and no one helps us. A week later after many phone calls they do the quote again and the story changes insurance goes up to R2700 per month. They tell me no my son did the quote wrong they will listen to the recordings. A 2 weeks later they tell me sorry it is not their fault the guy who gave me the quote made a mistake they cannot charge me any less after they confirm the fault is not mine but now i must pay this amount. I feel this is unprofessional and not acceptable. Mistakes are made but you dont do this. I would never bought the car then.
