Damage to vehicle in care of Nissan Dealership

Cars & Transport

On a day trip toRiebeek Kasteel I broke down about 20kms from the village. I was forced to leave it in RK for repairs. I was relieved to see a Nissan service centre and left it with Danie the owner torepair. After days of unreturned phone calls he advised that he had replaced a part (R3000) but needed to tow the vehicle to Automax Service Centre Brackenfell for diagnostics testing as the car still would not start. After more unreturned calls Danie told me I could collect the vehicle form Automax. When I arrived they would not give me my keys until they had proof of payment. I started the car which sounded terrible, the timing was out and it was only firing on three pistons. On my way home I stopped at the shop to discover I could not lock my car, both door locks were damaged, on closer inspection I saw that my key had been snapped and welded back together. So R4000 later I have to replace the locks in both doors as well as have a new key made. At home I had a male friend look at the enging to see the plugs had not been put back, the cover for the fuse box was gone and my bonnet was buckled, they had tried to close it with the stand up. Danie told me to *%%* off and cut me off.
