Daylight - deviation from contract amount

I have been using the Avis minilease since 27 July 2012 and my mnthly rate has been R4, 4439.84. This was the rate I was quoted and have been charged since then. Now this month I see an amount of R5880.00 charged on my card for the same service with no new agreement or signed revised rate. I did not agree to this amount and I want my refund of R1, 440.16 back into my account. You can't just wake up and decide that you will change the rate that I signed for and don't even bother to tell me about it so I can decide if I can afford it or not. This is complete daylight and taking advantage of the fact that you have my credit card and you will just take money of it as you please.
