Never have an acident in an Avis CAR!

One of my staff members unfortunately had an accident in an AVIS vehicle in Cape Town whilst on business in July 2011 and there was another vehicle involved in the accident. A Claim form was filled in and submitted to the Branch Manager in Cape Town who swiftly proceeded with the claim on their vehicle and charged a R15 000 excess on the claim which was paid. A week ago we received a summons from the third party, I swiftly contacted the branch manager again regarding this summons and was referred to Adele, and submitted the summons, I was then referred to Lee Stone. After several e-mails and trying to get hold of someone to acknowledge the summons nobody responds. We have 10 days to react to this summons but AVIS doesn't seem interested, we are covered for third party insurance when signing the contract but WHO and HOW are is going to help is the question?? I need someone to acknowledge this!!!
