Ridiculous finance installment amount!

Hi. On Friday 25 January I emailed my finance application papers for a Motomia Java scooter to [Email Removed] I didn't hear anything back from them after 2-3 phone calls trying to find out what was going on.

Then this week on Monday the 28th of Jan I went into the Rosebank branch where I gave in the exact papers I filled in and sent the first time along with a copy of my ID, payslip, 3 months bank statements and proof of residence.

Today on the 31st of Jan Johan called me back saying that he emailed me the pre-approved finance document stating the installment that I will have to pay each month.

On the website it says R557pm x 36 months. On the document that he sent me it states R1134.00 x 36 months.

Which means I will eventually pay R40 000 for the scooter!!!

This is ridiculous!

Please tell me this is a mistake because then I will take my business elsewhere.
