I bought a 550 Gran Tarismo 2011 model (demo) in end August 2012, in July 28th 2013 the car presented with a major engine problem. They attempted to fix the problem 4 times without success (28th July, 14th August, 23rd August & 2nd Sept).
Laid a complaint with BMW SA and was treated badly. At some point they send me correspondence to my email and addressed me as " Dear Mr Badenhorst".
I am extremely abhored by this and would like to cancel the sale and this is a bridge of our contract:
Car did not perform as per my expectation within the warranty period
They failed to fix the car within a reasonable period of time (30 days as per cpa)
I want out of this contract and BMW is not willing, I feel I am being bullied by BMW they cant give me a worthwhile service and thier product has a warranty fault and they are turning a blind eye. They proposed to replace my car but their solution puts me in a worse off financial situation. Is it my fault that their car is faulty and they cant fix it, or that they have a bad service. I think as a consumer I have the right to choose where I spent my hard earned money.
