Sell Damaged Goods and wrong Items

On 27/11/2013 my mom went to the Big Boys Scooters Branch in Wierda Park to buy a Coil and back brakes for my Dad's bike, today she had to return the Coil as it was broken and the brakes given was for the front tire and not back, the Indian guy got extremely rude and told her they don't accept return or refunds and it is her problem if the stock bought doesn't work, when my mom told them that she will be putting in a complaint at their head office, the Indian guy told her she can do what she want head office will laugh in her face. Is this how people trade goods these days? Should we now take a picture of this store and go to the newspapers to ensure people don't buy from them anymore? R420.00 thrown in the water all because they think they are funny?
