Factory faults discovered on the ca

Cars & Transport

I bought a Chevrolet captiva in February 2011 in Pretoria (Westvaal/ Jacaranda).

It is currently under warranty. In december 2012 it would not start. I then took it to GM in Oakdene on 02/01/2013. I was told that the starter is not working and that it is a factory fault, they then ordered a spare part and indicated that It will arrive after 4 weeks.

I checked with them again last week and I was told it has not arrived yet. On tuesday 29/01/2013, it had warning lights on the dashboard, I then towed it to GM Oakdene, where I was told it is an engine problem, again, factory faults. They also indicated that the starter will only arrive on 08 march 2013 as they cannot source in in the country. The branch manager indicated that he will make a plan, that maybe we can get it sooner (I just hope it wont be a second hand part)

I am furious as I bought a new car so that I would not experience these kind of problems. I am paying a lot on money and I do not want to experience these kind of situations.

Please intervene as I no longer want to experience thse problems.
