3 months ago i traded in my car with McCarthy VW and purchased a 2011 Polo Comfortline-turned out the car was bumped. I returned the vehicle & the agreement with the dealership was that they loan me a vehicle until they found a replacement with similar specs i.e mileage, yr model, color etc. Like i said 3months passed and no replacement vehicle could be found since my expectations of finding a similar vehicle were "outrageous". The only solutions the dealeship came up with was 1.I pay more for a better model, 2. I downgrade to a cheaper alternative or 3. I take my money and go elsewhere. Needless to say I chose option 3. But now the thing that really me off is that the dealership proposed to settle the outstanding balance with the finance house and re-imburse the costs that I incurred, i.e that equals the installment payments and let's not even mention insurance payments. I spent R6540.82 on installment payments and the dealership re-imbursed me R1760. like? When i enquired with the manager he told me that he first needed to discuss it with the DP-their communication changed. I just want them to refund the balance as agreed upon so that we can part ways.
