Westend Motors
Warranty

Cars & Transport

Hi, My name is Mr G Chetty (Justin), Earlier this year I purchased a 2006 BMW E87 116i From Westend Motors I was not happy with the vehicle from the time I took delivery, the vehicle had many defects which i had pointed out to the dealership. The dealership had the vehicle for about 2 weeks and nothing had been done to repair the vehicle. I had called to dealership and ask for my deposit back as i was not happy with the vehicle, I had put R40 000.00 as a deposit. Mr Yashin Megnath advised me that they could not refund me my deposit as they had spent money on the vehicle trying to repair it. Mr Yashin had said they can only give me R30 000 because he is not willing to take a loss. I agreed cos i did not have any choice as i needed a vehicle. I took a loss of R10 000.When i signed the deal, I also took out a 2 yr warranty on the vehicle which was with SA Warranties. When i gave the vehicle back Westend Motors failed to advise me to cancel the warranty.
I recently got a SMS stating that Westend Motors were claiming for Parts for the vehicle using the warranty that was still on my name without my permission neither verbal nor telecon. I called SA Warranty advised to reject claim. Please help...!
