2013 Kia Sedona (2500km) in repairs for a month

Cars & Transport

I purchased a 2013 Kia Sedona which had just over 1000km on the odometer when I took delivery of the vehicle on Saturday, 22 June 2013. When I took delivery of the vehicle, I noted 2 faults that had to be fixed on the vehicle viz. the fuel gauge was faulty and the rear left seat was not folding over. Since I had flown to CT to collect the vehicle, and on the advice from Kosie that since the vehicle was under warranty and on motorplan, that I have the faults fixed at a Kia dealership in Jhb. I booked the car in at the Kia multifranchise at the Glen on 26 June 2013. On my way to the dealership that morning, the headlights of the vehicle was switching on and off intermittently so I added this as the third fault to be attended to by the dealership. The vehicle has been at the dealership ever since awaiting a fuel sensor device from Korea. The part arrived this week but to my horror I was informed that the fault persists. I would like to return the vehicle and cancel the deal - surely 30 days is reasonable and sufficient time to allow KIA to repair an almost brand new vehicle!
