BAD SERVICE AND WARRANTY

I bought a new Corsa OPC from Reeds CPT in 2010. I took pride in my vehicle and serviced it at every service interval. The service I received from Reeds CPT has become progressively worse and my last experience has been horrific.

In May this year I took my car to Reeds CPT for the 75000km service. A day later I blew a top gasket. I do not drive irresponsibly and the engine failure happened with normal driving. After an investigation was done, Reeds refused to replace or repair the engine of my vehicle, because I had fitted an exhaust, which constituted "engine modifications". Prior to the engine damage I had my car serviced and had other small claims on the maintenance and warranty plan without warning from Reeds CPT of this warranty void. Despite my loyalty to the brand, the vagueness of the warranty agreement, and the fact that the car was serviced the day before it broke down, Reeds CPT refused to take any responsibility or provide any assistance. I have ended up paying for the damage myself, even though it most likely resulted from poor service or an error on the part of the dealership.
