Broken Hyundai Veloste

Cars & Transport

Hi there

I bought a brand new Hyundai Veloster in June 2013. In the first week of having the car it had to be taken to a service centre to check for a bumping noise. I was then told my car had to have the left rear shock replaced. I had no problem with this at the time. The service technician also pointed out that the problem should have been picked up when the car was sold to me.

After another week or 2 the same noise appeared, I took the car in again about 3 weeks ago, having to find a suitable day to go into work late. Was now told that the right rear shock has to be replaced as well as the worn engine mountings.
Now you can imagine my frustrations. I've had the car for only 4 months and it needs repairing.
At this point i refuse to take the car in again, the parts are still yet to arrive anyway, This is unacceptable. Its a brand new car which i paid quite a sum of money for.
I have called the client care centre on several occassions now only to be told the manager Max will call me back. I am yet to receive any call backs.
Hyundai needs to replace this car as i was sold a broken car to start off with. I need feedback asap or i will take this further.
