I've been renting cars from europcar for the last seven years. This last two experiences is really evidence that they lost their customer focus. This is also evident by also the pink hellopeter complaint reports.

1st... there was this incidence where it happen that when I returned the car they claim there was a cut on the tyre, as I was standing there a similar car parked behind me with a similar knife cut on the same left front tyre. Both were i20 Hyundai cars. I could not believe what was happening. Clean knife cuts on both Tyres. They forced me and the lady to signed the forms and then there was a big issue with my deposit which was resolved where I was forced to pay for tyre damage insurance to get my deposit back.

Now recently, I got a quote for a car for three days 620, super cover. I upgraded in store at 21/ day which I always do when I rent with them. My invoice should a base cost for three days @ over R950, I enquired from them but with no response. So let me share my experience with the rest of the world. Please email me your response since I'm out of the country and you will not get hold of me telephonically.
