Pothole damage and no stock available!!!

In March 2013 we bought a new Ford Focus for my wife that is fitted with Michelin Primacy LC. My wife drove threw a pothole and the tyre got damaged. I had to replace it but only to find that no tyre fitment centre had any stock of it. Eventually when speaking to someone they told me that the tyre was discontinued and that I won't find one anywhere. Completely disappointed I had to replace it with a Michelin Primacy HP tyre that looks similar. I'm totally disgusted that the car has one odd tyre on it. I really do think that buying a new vehicle with tyres fitted to them the tyres should be on the market.
