General Motors South Africa
Faulty Vehicle (Chevrolet Optra 1.8 LT 2012 Model)

Cars & Transport

Firstly i would like to advise that the service I have receive from the dealer is very poor in regards to assisting and finding a resolution to my concern.

My current complaint is that in 2012 Williams Hunt Midrand put smash and grab on my vehicle. After receiving my vehicle back I noticed that there is an "air noise" entering the front of the vehicle by the windows. I informed them of this and took the vehicle back to the dealer where they adjusted the windows but this did not resolve the problem. They then believed that is was the roof rubbers and after that it also did not resolve the problem.

I then took it back at least twice after that and on the 01.11.2013 I received a PDF letter via email from GMSA Customer Service stating the resolution as follows - (After inspecting the vehicle regarding the concern we can confirm that the "wind noise" you are experiencing is commercially acceptable.) stating that the wind brushes over my mirrors when driving causing the wind noise. I got some feedback from elsewhere that alo drove my car and as per them Williams Hunt is taking the easy way out. I will post this to as many social networks so that clients can understand the risks.
