Emergency compressor removed from my ca

After spending the day in Klerksdorp having my BMW X5 serviced at the Daly BMW, i discovered that the person who serviced my car had removed the emergency compressor. When i called the garage asking why it was missing and if they could perhaps return it to my car (as it came with the car, much like a spare wheel) they denied its existence and never called me back. I phoned the owner of the garage, who promised to phone me back, but never did so. The compressor is quite expensive to replace and it is ridiculous that nobody is willing to accept responsibility for its disappearance. This compressor is located in the boot of the car, under the service book that was stamped and signed by Daly BMW. I checked the car before the service and i made sure that everything was there. This is!! Do i have to remove my spare wheel and wheels of my car for next service, before they that too?
