Weak Car Part

I recently purchased a car part from GWM Edenvale, which is an accessory that adds the aesthetic appeal of the car. A week later i took the car to my local car wash, after which the clamps on the car part gave way as a result of being sprayed with water. On the 1st of October upon taking my car for service, i notified the service advisor that the part was now hanging as a result. I did not get any feedback till i emailed the dealer principal who got back to me. I explained to him what my problem via email. Today after speaking to him over the phone, he notified me that he will not replace my part as he can see its has a scratch caused by bumping into something. I am extremely livid about this as the scratches were caused by the fact that clamps gave way and as a result the part (Front Lip GWM FLORID CROSS) was hanging. I complained about the strength of these clamps when i bought this lip because they're weak weak weak!!!
