What's not to be expected from a reputable brand

Cars & Transport

When a person spends their hard earned money on a premium vehicle brand, the last thing they expect is inferior after sales service.By Inferior, I mean absolutely horrible...

At the end of July 2013, I took my BMW Z4 for it's last check up before the Motorplan expires. I was told that my shocks need to be replaced. I was told I can't drive more than 1000km over the next 30 days. This alone was a mammoth inconvenience, I agreed. 30 days later, nothing happened. During this time I emailed and phoned regularly. I was told that they have not received the parts yet... They can't even give me an ETA.

Today, 3 months later... I still have no clue when the parts will arrive. I mailed in excess of 20 times, phoned numerously and even went into the branch. Not once was there an apology for the delay, or organic communication to keep me updated. Often my calls where not even returned, or emails replied to. My communication ignored. BMW clearly does not care about the individual... I have been extremely patient through out the last 3 months. I feel I they are taking advantage of me.

Don't assume that paying top dollar for a vehicle will automatically get you the service you deserve...
