Now.. it's my problem!

I booked my car in for a service with Reeds N1 city. A price was quoted for the service, as well as a specific part that needed replacing. I accepted the quote and was told to take a print out along on the day of booking.
On that morning, I discovered that accepting the quote was not enough for them to take the initiative to order the part. No, I had to ask for the part to be ordered, of which I was never informed. The part comes from their factory in PE which means my car will not be ready the same day. I also get informed that more needs to be done to my car than initially quoted which pushes the service up by a R1000.
First I get told my car will be ready by 1pm the next day, only to be phoned later and told it will only be ready at 4pm. I have to beg lifts from co-workers to get home, back to work and to pick up my car in the afternoon - all at my expense and inconvenience. Not once have I been offered a courtesy car or being picked up!
To top it off, every time I speak to someone on the phone and express my unhappiness, I can almost here the grin on their face... another "idiotic" female they have to deal with! Service is DEAD in SA and Reeds N1 City is a shining example!!
