LANDROVER - the worst 4x4xfa

I have a 2005 Freelander TDI - 130 000kms. In the family we also have a 2001 Golf TDI - 165 000kms.

The sunroof on the freelander is rusted to pieces - I sealed it as a new one is R20K
The sunroof on the Golf still works perfectly.

All the window mechanisms on the freelander have corroded and been replaced.
All the window mechanisms on the Golf still work perfectly

The turbo / injectors / crank bearing / all wheel drive distributor on the freelander have to be replaced. (R75K) the car is worth R120K
The Golf goes like a bomb

Drivers window on the freelander to replace = R3200. So the collective value of the glass on the car (R33 000) is 25% of the cars value.
