Good luck trying to get your deposit back

Car was returned on the 25th September, call center keeps putting me on hold with no explanation as to what is happening with my account. Was asked to follow up with my bank without proof that the refund was in fact released from Avis. Renting a car with Avis is turning out to be one big mistake!
