Noise Boys
Negligence to my Vehicle

Cars & Transport

I took my car to Noise Boys on Saturday 19th of January 2013 to change the outer CV joints changed. I had picked my car up the same day. Tuesday 22nd of January 2013 at 7 p.m. while I was driving home from work I heard a noise from the right hand side of my car and then it came to a standstill. I got out of my car to investigate what the issue was and saw that my two front wheels were facing out. This did not look normal. I had to get my car towed and the closest place was Super Quick in fourways. Super Quick upon inspection informed me that the ball joint, bolt and nut were missing and indicates it was not tightened correctly. I called Noise Boys the same day (just before the car was towed) and I was informed that this is not their issue. They refuse to pay for negligence. I have had to incur the cost of towing my car and have been inconvenienced as I do not have a car. Noise boys needs to refund my money or fix this by purchasing the parts and redoing the job. I could have been killed had I been driving fast. I have pictures as well as Super Quick Fourways as witness. I am appauled that a customer can be treated in this manner!
